LIVING WATERS OF GOD MINISTRY... Kahu Parker, a native Hawaiian island minister, is warm, loving and true to his humble heart. From his strong ties to Hawaii's Royalty and famous paniolo heritage to his teachings from his Grandparents. You can say "ahhh... raised old fashion", but isn't being romantic... old fashioned? His beliefs comes a long way from his elders who were strong figures in the church and his up bringing, family, and life. By: Rosemary Parker

Ryan and Lisa at Lanikuhonua Estates - September 2012
With Rev. Parker, there is no two wedding ceremonies alike. All though Ryan graduated from Punahou High School here in Honolulu Hawaii, both Ryan and Lisa wanted a Hawaiian spiritual ceremony to always remember there special day. As you watch this video clip of the ceremony,
Rev. Parker does a Hawaiian chant as he leads the wedding entourage to their places.
Thank you Johnny from Visionari for sending us this beautiful video.
Congratulations to Ryan and Lisa and many blessings to you both!!!!

Thank you Propeller USA
Here is a video of Micah and Kaori. One thing I do know if you want THE BEST whether if it's video, pictures or minister always go to the ones who knows the best. Kaori is her own boss as a photographer. This video done by Propeller USA, Inc. is of course beautifully done. As Rev. Elias Parker presides the ceremony we also see friends who are guest of the party leaves their SLR camera home, but a photographer will always be as he is... taking pictures from their camera phone.... Enjoy this video !!!

Millard and Brenda's wedding
Two projects become one....
3yrs ago and 30 miles distance between each other, Brenda and Millard met at Home Depot for project repairs or another for thier homes. I'm pretty good at home gardening and easy things around the house, but when it comes to heavy duty repairs, I ask for help,.... and thats how Brenda and Millard met, she ask a question to Millard while at Home Depot, (laughing) he says he can't remember what the question was, but she says "yes... Mr. Fix it he is".

The Wedding Cottage Hawaii
Today I had the honor and the privilege to accompany Rev. Elias Parker to preside a wedding in Hauula, Oahu, a five star wedding venue.
Beautiful set of wines prepared for the reception
Long forgotten of the old ways, but this sets the pace for men to step it up if your looking for something romantic, and Rev. Parker asked Nicholos if he would oblige him to take one knee.
As Nicholos and Kay Lani takes pictures with his bike,
he says "it's not his bike.....
it's our bike..."

A rare moment...
Rev. Parker with Dolly Wright owner of "The Wedding Cottage".
Thank you once again for the privilege.

Roots, Foundation, and Life
Is the land sacred because of the heiau, or is the heiau sacred because of the land?
Rev. Parker has made many pinpoints in his journey through life. He has traveled in and out of the Hawaiian island chains, Philippines, Japan and through out the United States. Through his journey he has seen many cultures and how each and every one would play a vital part in each life. Coming back to Hawaii he remembers a dedication and his protocol to one of many heiau in Hawaii, “Heiau O Lono”. There are two general priciples in the practice of a hawaiian protocol.
Firstly, anyone who practices a Hawaiian ceremonial protocol should know why and the understanding of their involvement in a particular ceremony and what they are expected to do.
And two, there is an order in how one proceeds, one may present a ho’okupu, an offering element, another may include the sound of the conch shell (pü kani), and be followed by an opening chant (oli wehe). A procession would follow, accompanied by oli, followed by the bearers of the ho’okupu in order by rank or status. These steps are consistent in old Hawaiian protocol.

One of my favorite pastor's ELIAS teacher. I transmitted it many times Dr. ELIAS wedding is whats let Aralia sings my heart, 'ALOHA' is amazing...
Whenever I go to Hawaii by chance have a greets you with a smile always warm. Us country celebrates the wedding ceremony is the pastor. I would like aloha spirit-filled pastor's under-construction wedding I decided.
I think couples can be subjected to prayer Dr. ELIAS ホヌカイラニ very envious.

Robert and Jaime Barnes Wedding at Loulu Palms
The beauty looking through an empty paper towel role
A question was brought up to me during Robert and Jaime's wedding by one of the coordinators and asked "When you take these pictures what goes through your mind?" I said "I think every photographer talk to themselves during the whole ceremony getting the right shots, when I was a little girl my mother always threw away the empty paper towel role, but I'd ask my mom, can I have that please, mom would look at me wierd and just gave it to me. Just think after many years of pulling that empty paper towel role and looked through it like a telescope, I saw everything differently and fell through a whole new dimension of a new world through this paper towel role. I'd ask myself, what are the ants on the plant talking about when they connected to eachother, how is it that my little bonzai plant looks like a full grown tree looking from a bottom view,... now I'd say an example in this picture, what is the father and the bride talking about while they walk down to her husband to be. This has always been my personal favorite part of the ceremony, Father and Bride walk. Just by looking at the pictures, can you see what they are talking about?... hmmmm
Mr. Bohannon and daughter bride Jaime
I can put my own illustrations to this, but I would want you to see the beauty of pictures through an empty paper towel role.

Charles and Natalie Hawaiian beach wedding
Video by: Dream Weddings Hawaii, Steven Young
In the begining the Hawaiians believe that the first man was created by sand and with life, and also with life came responsibility. His responisbility was to care for all things created before him, animals of the sea, the heavens, and of the land, and in return all thing before him (we call the elders), would care for him. You may know it as the circle of life. Over a time as man would care for his elders, (the land, the sea and of the heavens) man would find a very dear friend, sometimes in front of him, sometime behind of him, sometimes next to him, but never so far away. That's when first man found his shadow, the Gods found him lonely so they took his shadow and created first woman. Always close to him, but never so far away.

To the island of my father's roots...Kauai
When Rev. Parker received a message asking of his availability to a wedding, to be held in Kauai, he accepted with joy, to his delight he will be returning to the homeland of his father's lineage. While sitting in 1st class for 30 minutes of flight time, his thoughts and spirit would fly ahead to Kaua`i preparing for his homecoming. Upon landing excitement was in the air, the elders and ancestors knew of Rev. Parker's returning, the soft nahenahe wind, the waves breaking on the shoreline and the trees all around, knows this child belong to us, honouring his presence with a simple sign of acknowledgement.

It's all about the LOVE... and a Happy New Year!!!
It has been brought to my attention many times, "Why is it that Reverend Elias does not have a website?".... in short, this blog is for him. His many requests for ceremonies were always from people who knew him by a family or friend. Whether you call him for a ceremony or just to simply talk, you can always count on him.
When I first met Rev. Elias, it was always known and found it very comforting to understand that his love for life is to praise God's name in glory in song and dance. His love for prayer, music and family is close to his heart. He believes in Faith, Love and Joy and the greatest of them all is Love.... Rev. Elias motto: "It's all about the Love" or "It's all about the Aloha".
