Happy Birthday Elias Sen-sei
Today a full day of 9-weddings at Honukailani Chapel. Through out the day many birthday greetings was sent to Elias sensei.  A birthday card and pineapple chews, and wearing a orchid vanda

Straight from the chapel we headed for a quaint restaurant, but inside not so quaint. Hearty food for a full hearted man. Another lei made out of Tuba rose, Ilima lantern, Pakalana wrapped around ti leaf, another of his many favorites.

After the blessing, a mock wedding was in store. The chapel was filled with invited guests. As we entered the chapel from the front two coordinators of Watabe Weddings opens the double wooden doors to let the guests in. Marble white floors rosewood pews with a "A frame" ceiling, surrounded with orchid and rose sprays at the end of each pew, the walls are tinted glass, (similar as glass chapel) over looking the blue green ocean. Surrounding the chapel is a white pond that falls over a straight edge wall that illuminates and glistens to the cove. As you turn around to look at the chapel it resembles of a honu (sea turtle) looking at the ocean,... and Rev. Parker starts a harmonious ceremony.
