Invitation to Chigasaki Japan May 2018 Aloha Market Festival with Kahu Elias "Kamohoalii" Parker

Thank you for visiting. We welcome everyone to this site and any questions you may have.
It's been quite awhile since our last post.  We apologies... so here it goes.

Our invitation to Chigasaki is on the go...

The Journey
Just like sitting in the cockpit, the runway was clear that we could see Diamond Head at the end. Getting ready to take off it was too late for anything or a phone call, but finally we're on our way. Now to Kona, Hawaii for a short stop over.

Not totally left Hawaii yet the vog settled in the afternoon in Kona airport.  Feeling like a tourist we still stopped at a shop for a Cooke Street aloha shirt for our first visit in the Municipal Office visit with the Mayor in Chigasaki, Japan.

Then to our final destination to Haneda Airport, Japan. (so excited)

As we landed, Judai-san and Yuko-san waited patiently in the late evening of our arrival. Honi aku made it comfortable. It took us one hour to get to Toyoko Inn Hotel. It was nearly 1:00 a.m. in the morning and we walked outside the hotel just to get the grounds recognized. We found a quick stop convenience store for water and a small bite.  Lots of little restaurants to eat, and Daiso $1 store only across the street, and a 4-level electronic department store. The train station was only a couple blocks away, but that would be another day.  Arrived back at the room, it was 2:00 a.m. still on Hawaii time and not sleepy.

TOYOKO INN HOTEL   curtains closed.... lights turned off... and cell phones alarm on... peace and quiet. Thank you for this day.  ðŸ˜´
